Question: Can anybody please let me know about the differences between Applied Sciences and Technical Universities of Germany....Like HFT Stuttgart and TU Stuttgart...?
Answer:
Applied sciences and Tech. Universities both give the MSC degrees but universities have more theoretical education as compared to Applied Sciences institutes ( they are called "Fachhochshule").
The other difference is that if you want to go for PHD then your need little bit more time in case you finished your masters from a Fachhochshule. In the job market, I assume there is not difference between a master from University of Fachhochschule.
